The board steers and develops the club, supported by other volunteers (such as coaches and team managers) and club members. The board is among other things responsible for decision-making, budgeting and general safety. Each board member is usually given a certain role, where they are responsible for certain tasks and initiatives. These tasks can also be delegated or shared with other volunteers, and many areas of responsibilities are naturally interconnected. Monthly board meetings ensure effective communication and coordination between board members. You can find the different board positions and 2025 board members below.
The chairperson leads the board & provides direction for the club. They are responsible to plan, recruit, motivate, and organize with leaders; and to communicate with other clubs and SRL (Suomen Rugbyliitto).
They are the person who keeps things together, and develop both the club and rugby in Finland in general. The chairperson can also break ties in votes.
Jack Crabtree
The Vice Chair is the Chair's Deputy and can sign documents on behalf of the club
The Treasurer is in charge of finances of the club and maintains budget control. This includes for example invoicing, collecting membership fees, accounting, and taxes. They have the right to use the club account in addition to the chairperson, and arrange the annual audit with the nominated auditor.
The Secretary is responsible for the club's documentation (such as meeting minutes, member registry, important documents, etc.) and the operational functionality of the board, including the coordination of board meetings and managing the email-inbox. They are also responsible for monthly board communication and follow-ups.
Anna Urban
Recruitment efforts are supported by all board members and volunteers, and include open trainings, marketing campaigns, and rugby showcase events etc.
The Commercial Manager manages income and purchases, in close collaboration with the Treasurer and Club manager. Income sources include a.o. sponsors, fundraising gigs, grant applications. Purchases include training gear and merchandise.
Academy Leadership
The Academy Manager coordinates all operations of the junior academy & the transition of juniors to adult teams. They supervise the Junior Coaches and other volunteers around the junior teams. Academy operations include a.o. regular junior training, organization of matches, open trainings and camps, recruitment and education of coaches, and fundraising.
Roosa Turunen
The Communications Manager is responsible for internal & external communication, such as social media, marketing, press releases, webpage updates, etc. They coordinate the volunteer work in social media, and ensure a consistent image of the Club. The Communications Manager's role includes the support of other club activities, such as recruitment efforts, on the communications side.
Vilma Lammi
The Social & Community Manager is responsible for organizing events, (such as EOS Party, 3rd half's, family socials, etc.) and recruitment of new players.
Rajesh Amradi
The Club Manager is responsible for games and pitch organization (reserving the pitches for trainings and games) and other logistics (such as away game organization and club gear purchases). They are also supervising and coordinating with the Team Managers.
